This Privacy Policy describes how BluNivalis Studio ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the MaFace Android app.
MaFace is designed to show a front-camera mirror preview and capture photos when you choose to take them. The camera feed stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers, cloud-processed, or used for face recognition.
We do not directly collect personal data from you through MaFace. We do not require account creation, and we do not provide cloud accounts or user profiles within the app at this time.
MaFace requires camera permission to display the mirror preview and to capture photos when requested. MaFace uses the front camera for the mirror experience and does not intentionally upload camera images to our own servers.
Photos you capture in MaFace are saved locally on your device through Android media storage, including the DCIM/MaFace folder where supported by your Android version. MaFace does not provide cloud backup or cloud sync for captured photos.
MaFace may display ads through third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob. These third-party services may process certain device-related or advertising-related information in order to provide, improve, measure, or personalize ads, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Where required, MaFace may show an advertising consent flow that allows you to manage choices related to advertising and related third-party processing.
MaFace may store app settings, preferences, theme choices, language choices, mirror settings, or similar app configuration locally on your device. We do not intentionally transmit your mirror settings or captured photos to our own servers.
MaFace does not require an account, location access, contacts access, or microphone access. Permission behavior may depend on your device and Android version.
MaFace may use third-party services that are necessary for app functionality or monetization. These services may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Example third-party service:
MaFace is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law for independent consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own systems.
We aim to keep the app and its dependencies reasonably up to date. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You can stop all collection of information by the app by uninstalling it. You can also clear locally stored app data through your device settings, depending on your device and Android version. Advertising-related choices may also be available through the app, your device settings, or third-party consent controls where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
